Mental Health First Aid gives you the skills to recognize when someone is facing mental health or substance use challenges — and the confidence to be their first source of support.
This is an 8-hour course (2 hours online and 6 hours in-person). Once you complete the course, you will be certified as a Youth Mental Health First Aider by the National Council for Wellbeing, and the certification is valid for 3 years.
